Julia was a 2024 fashion editorial shot entirely in black and white, and the brief called for something that felt both restrained and sensual, so the work leaned into strong contrast and deliberate composition with the face removed from almost every frame, letting the body, the clothing and the light become the subject, and the tension between oversized white shirting and heavily embellished sequin pieces gave the edit a push and pull that kept each image interesting, with the framing moving between wide and tight to build a rhythm across the series, and the final images came together as a quiet, considered editorial that felt closer to art than fashion without ever losing its commercial edge.
