Personal Project

Fern was a 2025 personal beauty project and a chance to push the work into something more purely artistic, and the brief was self-directed, so the shoot leaned hard into mood and craft with extreme close-up portraits lit in deep, painterly tones that made skin texture and makeup finish feel almost sculptural, and the glossy editorial looks were built to photograph rather than simply to wear, with each frame cropped and composed to sit somewhere between beauty photography and fine art portraiture, and the final series stands as some of the most considered and atmospheric work in the portfolio.
